Johann Sebastian Jazz is a ‘musical game’ for discovering the infinite ‘moves’ that are possible in Bach’s web of counterpoints and harmonies, almost like in a game of chess. What makes Bach’s music so genius and unique is that it is simple yet complex. Bach used few, straightforward themes; but how they can be played and combined can lead to infinite musical pieces. Inside this musical universe, classical music and jazz –in an inspired dialogue– can navigate, play, suggest, create and recreate, giving listeners a new way to experience and listen to Bach.
